Building community through art
Solace Studio began as a personal practice, time spent working with clay, slowing down, and reconnecting with something steady and tangible.
What started at the wheel grew into something more: the desire to create a space where making feels communal, not intimidating. A place where people can sit around a table, laugh, learn, experiment, and leave with both a piece of pottery and a sense of connection.
Based in Lake Jackson, TX, Solace is currently in its early stages. I’m creating small batches of functional pottery while building toward future classes designed to be welcoming, accessible, and community-centered.
Solace isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence, shared experience, and the simple joy of making something with your hands.
Giving back is an important part of the studio’s mission. A portion of all Solace Studio proceeds is set aside for donations to community organizations and causes aligned with care, access, and collective well-being.
